Amy Hewett is a director + writer + artist currently based in Los Angeles from London, UK. Her work is bold, stylized and captures the chaos and humor of the Gen-Z experience.
Professionally, she's currently producing and directing a season of short ‘SMALLS’ minisodes for Adult Swim to be aired on their channel, she's also previously created multiple original comedic shortform-series for Bento Box’s A Studio Digital. In addition, she's also had the opportunity to executive produce, direct, and animate a short film for Six Point Harness.
Beyond her professional work, she created and directed the viral short film Apocalypse Yasss: Two Girls One Rapture, which has garnered over 500k+ views on YouTube, and her thesis film, How to Find Love in an Unbecoming Age, both of which premiered at the Los Angeles Academy Museum in the 2023 and 2024 CalArts Producers Show, respectively.
Her interests lie in development for animated television and feature as well as storyboarding, directing, writing and visual development!
